The Audience Chair Test is a mentalism trick where the performer predicts the choices of three audience members who never come on stage. It involves four envelopes displayed on music stands, with the audience members selecting envelopes based on a series of decisions influenced by the performer. The trick culminates in multiple reveals that predict the choices and characteristics of the participants, creating a sense of escalation and wonder. the man was all about mystery and that you know that was so important and sometimes nowaday it's sort of being a bit sidelined you know with all the stuff we see on Tik Tok and all the exposure and so on it's you know some of the mystery is being eroded and it's a real shame because Burglas was a legend was unique in the sense that you know there was nothing no one will ever be like him again and he once told me that for him a deck of cards was the ultimate effect you know that he could walk out on stage with a pack of cards in a box he would throw it on the table and know that he had 20 minutes half an hour of mindblowing material and what was even better about it he didn't know where it would start and he didn't know where it would end it was it's like the ultimate improv and the ultimate freedom can you imagine i mean that's just to me I have the hugest respect for comedians they're the ultimate entertainer they stand up with nothing except their words
