I don't want to have a recency bias but I do think that this is one of the best books to help get a beginner into magic because of how compelling it is with all the colorful photos the educational nature of it explaining things adequately the DVD if you want to see how the tricks should look to perform for an audience or how they might react and just the sheer variety of really great tricks that are taught in it.
