The Colorful Opener

Created by: Gabriel Berlin, Max Maven

The Colorful Opener is a mentalism trick based on Max Maven's 'The Disposable Color' from the Red Book of Mentalism. It's designed for stage or parlor mentalists who need to randomly select a spectator. The performer throws a paper ball into the audience, and the catcher is asked to think of a color. Through clever principles, the mentalist can make it seem as though they predicted the spectator's chosen color, even if it doesn't match the color in the paper ball. This trick is a great opener or method for selecting a volunteer, blending psychology and multiple principles for a seemingly impossible revelation.

What people are saying about The Colorful Opener

UnbiasedMagicReviews says...
Gabriel Verlin has taken Max Maven's idea and really turned it into a mini effect... very clever the principles are really great and I think that anyone who does like stage mentalism where you use the same type of idea to get a spectator to come up on stage I think it's something that you definitely will consider using.
