Two Billet Test by Bob Cassidy and Bruce Bernstein

Created by: Bob Cassidy, Bruce Bernstein

The Two Billet Test is a classic mentalism trick where the performer demonstrates the ability to read minds by revealing personal information written down by two spectators on billets (small pieces of paper). The trick involves no props other than the billets and a pen, making it a pure and direct form of mentalism that can be performed anywhere, anytime. It's a close-up or parlour trick that relies heavily on the performer's skill in billet work and psychological subtleties.

the man was all about mystery and that you know that was so important and sometimes nowaday it's sort of being a bit sidelined you know with all the stuff we see on Tik Tok and all the exposure and so on it's you know some of the mystery is being eroded and it's a real shame because Burglas was a legend was unique in the sense that you know there was nothing no one will ever be like him again and he once told me that for him a deck of cards was the ultimate effect you know that he could walk out on stage with a pack of cards in a box he would throw it on the table and know that he had 20 minutes half an hour of mindblowing material and what was even better about it he didn't know where it would start and he didn't know where it would end it was it's like the ultimate improv and the ultimate freedom can you imagine i mean that's just to me I have the hugest respect for comedians they're the ultimate entertainer they stand up with nothing except their words
